Anchor Healthcare, PLC is seeking to fill the position of Front Office Associate to work in a group family medicine practice providing support to the overall team. We are interested in a candidate that enjoys patient interaction, has a can-do attitude, is willing to learn and grown with our practice, comes to work as scheduled, and communicates effectively and respectfully to our patients and other team members.

Tasks:
Duties would include but are not limited to the accurate scheduling of patient appointments, collecting co-pays and deductibles, explaining patient balances, answering a multi-line telephone system, verifying, entering and updating patient chart records with necessary demographic and insurance information with speed and accuracy, flagging and faxing appropriate medical records, contacting patients via telephone and communicating appropriate information and maintaining a respectful, warm, HIPAA compliant atmosphere.
Skills and requirements:
Electronic medical record and office experience is required. The ability to multi-task and work as a team is an essential component of working at our practice. Must be organized, dependable and caring! 2 Years of outpatient medical office experience is a requirement. Must have excellent customer service, discretion and communication skills.

Full Time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
